Brittany Ownbey, General Manager
Hello! My name is Brittany and I am 33 years old. I am a wife and mother to 3 wonderful children. My career background is mostly in retail management. While my husband was enlisted in the Army, I was a stay at home mom and took the opportunity to go back to school! I have always loved animals so I chose Animal Behavior College and began studying for my Veterinary Assistant Certificate. I completed my internship with Heartland Animal Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY and recieved my certification in April 2014.
I absolutley love my job here at Playful Paws and I am thrilled to be part of a growing small business. I love each and every animal that walks through our doors.
I am currently going to school full time and I am chasing my dreams in order to become a Marine Biologist. My hope is to work on sea life conservation efforts in the Gulf of Mexico.
